I have been so excited about shooting this wedding with Lauren & Alex.
Not long ago, I met Alex during a family photo session when he was home from the U.S. Navy at Christmas. (Thank you for serving our great country!) He was only going to be home for a few days and his mom wanted to squeeze in a family photo session during that time. I don’t blame her! If I had a son that was serving in the military, I would want to get photos done as much as possible! So I got to know the Parker’s a little during that session and then more and more as they began serving at our church.
Then, it wasn’t long when I heard Alex and Lauren were engaged!! Then…wait for it….married!! Wait! What?! married? Yep! This sweet little couple ran off and got married before Alex was deployed again. I think it’s completely awesome and so sweet and I don’t blame them a bit!
So…. then I met Lauren, as Alex’s wife….when she began attending our church. We just spoke in passing here and there, but never really that much. When we spoke on the phone about a few of the details, I could tell she would be very easy to work with!
These two have been so laid back and relaxed during the whole planning process. Then to add an extra wrinkle in the whole bit….hurricane Irma rolls in and 6 days later Alex and Lauren are trying to throw a big wedding party!! The good Lord knows what people can handle and He knew that these two could pull it off.
Congratulations Lauren and Alex! May God bless your marriage for years and years!
Thanks for looking all the way to the end!
